2000 gtx won’t go over 2500 rpm

Hey guys, totally jinxed my self and I have another weird problem. My rpms will stop around 2500 rpms. With the choke I can get it to go over and get it on a plane but before that I have now thrust. Is this just a carb tuning, if so what screws do I need to adjust.

You could have any number of problems at that RPM. Did you replace the spark plugs? Check compression? Doubtful it will simply be carb tuning.
