Figured I would start a thread to show off the new completions, the entire hull was prepped inside and then painted with snow white marine paint every hose is being replaced, every nut/bolt anything that showed wear or didnt look good has been replaced, the engine was given a pick me up and painted in 3 stage, primer,then mercury racing blue metalic paint @ $25 per can, then cleared. The exhaust was stripped of the factory black and is now aluminum silver in a 3 stage as well, the pump noz as well, the fuel selector valve works again like it just rolled off the lot, this is get a full restore as will the two rx's I have. Heres the pictures:
This is from the 2000 GTX and the colors and blue/white hence the blue engine, now the 2 rx's one will be neon green/black and the other pink/black, so one engine will be neon green and the other engine....yup thats right a neon pink 951 engine.........Eat your hearts out........
You have seen the rotax silver and the rotax white....now meet the rotax color family from me, rotax mercury racing blue, rotax neon green and rotax neon pink!!!!!!!!!
