Does 350 sound like a fair price for someone to replace my fuel lines, new carb, clean carb, new fuel filter? Mechanic said hes clean it ultrasonic? Foreign language to me.

$350 sounds too low. This is what I was quoted one time for my machine in Ontario Canada. Its a 717cc gti 98.
Quality fuel lines $100 - $150
Genuine Carb Kit $50 - $100
New Carb Mikuni $200+
Fuel Filter $20
Labour 3 - 4hours @ $100+/h
Expect at least $500 for quality parts/service

Can't say in canada but if I was buying parts here...
1/4" Automotive fuel hose $20 for 25'.
Mikuni carb kit $46, needle and seat $16.
Fuel selector $25.
Fuel Strainer $25.
Carb Base gasket $8.
Probably $20 is shop supplies so figure total parts at $175 and that is using all OEM parts.

Labor 2 hours at $100 you are looking at $375 with no markup on parts so at $350 he is not using OEM quality parts.

$375 usa to cad currency is right on $500 so that makes sense. You got those prices down miki!

Just do the math: Canadian dollar is at 77 cents US. For the rest, prices are slightly lower in USA (less taxes to pay). So figure out 30% difference between USA and CDN jobs...
