1999 spx ignition coil removal?

does the spark plug wire come off of coil?

Yes, there are teeth that bite into the plug wire, you will more than likely break the plastic tabs trying to do it.

Look at the tab where the coil wire enters the coil, gently pry out ant try and remove that. I did it once, but still broke a clip. It pretty much is meant to be a one time install.
