1999 Seadoo Speedster SK Runs Great but no DESS Beeps?

I just bought a 1999 Seadoo Speedster SK and love it. It runs great, but when I put the DESS key on the post I don't get the 2 beeps. Where is the beeper located? Is there a test I can do to see if the beeper is bad? I read somewhere about replacing the beeper, where can I get one?

I love this forum, trolled around and found the mpem test. Went out and turned on battery switch, pressed both start buttons 5 times and no beeps. Everything from gages, engines running, charging system works so I'm guessing the buzzer is probably shot?

Yep, it's shot. look by the weedless intake handle, you'll see a black round trim ring under the steering helm. Many guys get a replacement from Radio Shack, Mine didn't last on my ski so I'd rather get an original one, I think it's Floyd bell. The part# is right on them usu
ally.

Picked up a used one on Ebay for $15, works as good as new.
