Tapping in to the brain trust here for some help swapping out my start/stop button on my 1999 Sea Doo GTX RFI... I have the replacement and I know I will need to fish the wires down to a connector somehow... I do have a pin extractor tool, so swapping the pins in the plug won't be an issue (when I get to it)... I just need to figure out how to remove the existing switch? Looks like there is an allen screw underneath, but do I need to remove the hand grip?... I tried YouTube, but come up empty on the methodology.

Thanks!

Yes, remove the rubber plug on the end of the hand grip, remove the 10mm bolt holding the grip on then the grip. Do this on both grips as there are phillips screws for the bar pad under each side.
Loosen the alan screw under the switch and throttle housings and slide them out towards the end of the handle bars.
Remove the phillips screws holding the handle bar cover on. Remove the bar cover.
