1999 GTX

Was riding the ski. It bogged down. Shut off then just a click. After it cooled down it starts to crank but still slow cranking. Too end I'm assuming? Anything else I should try before pulling out the motor? Pump is off. Thank you in advance

There is a whole lot I would try before pulling motor, as Mikidymac says , compression first, then check for spark and fuel.

How many hrs on it?
I'm not 100% sure on this motor. I swapped it from a 98 GSX last season. The compression then was at 150 on both. Ran great all this season. Smoked as it should. I'm gonna get into it this weekend. I pulled the pump. Haven't pulled plugs or anything yet. I'll definitely check the compression as recommended. Thanks guys for the response.
