1999 GTX RFI Fuel Pump and Filter alternatives

Hello,

I’m learning more and more and would like to share with everyone else. The fuel pump output below goes up to 100 PSI. I just installed them in my 99 GTX RFI and it fired right up. I will tear it this weekend
Oreilly fuel pump - Master Pro MPE16014 ($44)

Autozone fuel filter - Delphi Fuel Pump strainer BFS ($9)

Those filters work perfectly (BFS0112), just installed two sets over the weekend.

That thead has a ton of great info.
I do have a question about the metal and rubber washer that’s under the inside strainer. Is it really needed? Or can I leave that out?

Yes it is needed. it stops the fuel from draining out of the pump and lines when the ski is shut off.

Thanks @mikidymac . Can’t wait to take this to the lake this weekend.
Cleaned out the tank, fuel line and rail, including the injectors. Tuned in the oil mixer. New oil in the jet pump. It ran up to 45 mph last Sunday and it started to bog down like it was starving for fuel. It used to go way faster than that.

After market pumps, have yet to work for me under load in the water.
