1998 GTX Limited. I am not getting voltage differential readings on the sensor wires. If I go to ground I'm getting 9 volts on the purple wire. I guess the sensor could be bad causing the issue but I swapped sensors. I could have 2 bad sensors though... LOL. I need a way to test these the sensor by itself. I"m gonna have to start repairing these things as much as I a not gonna like it.

I edited my post as I am thinking this through. I'm measuring a differential voltage of the same wire as it passes though the hall effect device. I was measuring a steady 1.4 volts. Then I swapped sensors and still got 1.4 volts steady with no variation. Other sensors I tested on other skis I would get 8-9 volts on the multi meter with the sensor not working properly. This one is strange.

Did you have the lanyard in. My 97 wont read without it.
Everything is lighting up when I hit the start button and I'm getting the 9 volts to the Purple/Yellow wire for about 30 seconds. I have good continuity on the black/orange all they way back to the MPEM. I thought I had a good spare sensor but it is doing the same exact thing. Strange for me.
