I finally got this GTX all put together, good compression, new fuel lines, rebuilt carb and I took it to the lake today to make sure everything is working properly. It will start and idle just fine all day long but as soon as I get closer to halfway throttle it just bogs really bad. I came home and took apart the rave valves because that was one of the few things I didn’t look at and sure enough, the green piece of rubber in there was all folded over on one side and full of a black substance.( this was how both of the rave valves looked). I ordered a rebuild kit for them and will get that taken care of but does this associate with the bogging/hesitation or is this sound like more of a carb issue? I also have a small leak coming from the pictured area below and have no idea wha this even is. On another note, I bought this trailer and ski for $400!

This could definitely be your issue around 4500 rpm. I wouldn’t touch the carbs till you rebuild the rave valves
Ok I’ll get them rebuilt and go from there. I had no idea they could affect the engine performance that much.
