Hi All,

I have a GTX limited that I noticed had been filling up with water a bit more than I liked the last couple of times that it was taken out. This last time I took the seat off and when I gave it throttle, water would spray in from the drive shaft area. This only seemed to happen when the machine was on. It appeared to be from the red seal.

I also noticed that the 2nd clamp on the black baffle was loose. (2nd picture)20190630_180506.jpg
Should I be looking to do a Carbone Seal and Baffle replacement?

I wouldn't think that just tightening the clamp would solve my issue...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'd take the bellows loose and look at the surface. Then I'd put some sealant on there and let it cure for a couple of days. Unless of course you have a hole in the bellows.

Thanks.
Just unscrew the clamp and slide the bellows off?

What am I looking for when looking at the surface?

Thanks again,

Just inspecting for cracks, holes imperfections that will prevent the bellows from sealing properly. It might just be loose. Could have debris under the bellows. One might be surprised at what you'll find under there. It is unbelievable the shoddy work some people do.
