1998 GTX Limited "12 V Low"

Hello, I Bought this GTX Limited last week, took it on vacation with me and the first day the info gauge reads "12 V Low". It has never not started yet, but in the morning when starting, I put the lanyard on and it doesn't beep at all and it goes almost dead fast. Then after I drive it, seams fine, lanyard beeps twice and starts good although the "12 V Low" does come on for 2 sec. I call the previous owner and he said the battery in only 3 months old, But it was a cheap one. He thinks I should replace the battery. To me it seems like it is a bad battery. I was thinking maybe rectifier, but seems better after use. Anyone ever had this problem? If so, what was the fix? THANK YOU !!

mine does the 12v low for a few seconds after starting then its fine. So far no issues for me.

Just replaced the battery with a new odyssey still flashes "12 V LOW" for 2 sec. at start up. Starts and runs fine. Don't know

is it just the dash starting up? Like when you start your vehicle and check engine light comes on and then goes off? If it goes out ater 2 seconds I would think its just showing that its in working condition...

After I replaced the battery, now when I put the lanyard on it beeps twice, info gauge comes on, when I push the start button it starts up and "12 V LOW" will flash for two sec., then goes out. I guess I'm not to worried about it. Everything else seems fine.

my 2000 GTX is giving me the 12v Low flash... didn't think much of it until last weekend. I charged the batt, put it in the water, fired right up, idled over to the marina... stopped for a few minutes, went to start it again and it was dead as a doornail. I'm ordering a new voltage rectifier (or whatever they are called) for $130.... someone stop me if i'm going the wrong route
