I found this forum when my fuel gage quit working. I almost wasted $185 bucks on a new fuel baffle. The solder over the F1 fuse in the baffle worked great. Thanks sea doo forum!!!

I replaced all my grey fuel lines and found some blue green goo in the old hoses. I would have never done that... if I hadn't found out from this forum that those grey lines are bad. Thanks sea doo forum!!!

I'm thinking about opening up the carb and taking a look for the blue green goo, but It runs great and I don't want to screw anything up. If I do open the carb... Can I just clean around the fuel filter without taking the carb off the engine? I have no clue on how to do things like a pressure leak test and sealing all the joints...but I am eager to learn. Any advice would be great.

you got one carb, with an xcellerator pump. Remove the side plate, that the fuel lines are on, and reach inside to pull the internal filter out, and clean it. Re-install, and with the xcellerator pump, (you'll no it, when you see it), remove the little lines on it and carb, and blast away with air or carb cleaner, and from there, you should be good, and without removing carb from manifold
