1998 GTI fuel issues

This is my first post so bear with me.
Ski sat for two years.
Compression is great both cylinders.
Replaced all fuel lines.
Cleaned out the tank.
Replaced Fuel selector valve.
Rebuilt carb.
New plugs.
Now ski will start only with the choke engaged and will die after about 10 seconds of running.
Fuel is flowing.
Went thru all vacumn tests, pop off etc. everything checks out ok.
Reset Needle and seat and nothing changes.
I'm officially lost.
Any ideas.

Did u use an oem kit for your rebuild? Is your fuel selector oem? When you cleaned the carbs did you get a good strong spray from the three small holes in the carb throat when spraying through the jets?

Also did you reuse the black 80 gram spring from under your fuel pump lever. The kits usually come with a heavier spring.
