I have a single carb 2 cycle ski- has always run great . Starts, idles and runs to 20 mph just fine. If I give it more throttle it bogs down and stops.im a novice and can use some help. Thanks

Well let’s start with what has been done so far... Do you still have the grey tempo fuel lines? Have the carbs or fuel system been gone through?

Well this one is pretty easy to diagnose then! You need to pick up about 20ft of 1/4” black automotive fuel line and replace each line one by one so that you get the routing exactly the same. Then you need to replace your fuel selector and the o-ring on the water separator. Lastly, you need to rebuild the carbs with genuine Mikuni parts and new needles and seats. Follow the carb rebuild sticky in the forum to the letter.

And the most important part: Don’t run the ski anymore until all this is done! You risk the motor every time it’s run with fuel problems.

Thanks a lot- this is a big help for a novice. No service provider near me has time to do it or they won’t work on anything over 10 years old . Guess it’s my turn. Thanks again
