Ok let me say i just got the boat about a week ago (the boat hasent been run in about 9 months)and im new to boating. I took it out to test drive it and it ran great but at one point the passenger side engine cut out. We restarted it and went on for about 20 min with out a prob. After going out a few days later for about 3 hours the motor cut out a few times always cranked back up but was about 300 or so RPMs different from the other motor. Other than that boat was running fine even when it was at top speed.... then me being new to boating had the tube tow line get wrapped around one of the little fingers by the intake (after pulling the boat out the water i did notice a small crack in the plastic intake pannel by the fingers).... I dont know if the problem started at that momnet or not but after i noticed when i would try and run the boat at top speed it would only go to about 35/40 and it would rev up to about 7k then down to 4k.(the engines would both start reving at different intervals quickly) I am going to get the carbs cleaned out but dont really know what else to look for on the boat.

Any ideas ?

Thanks for the help

Check the RAVE valves as well. They might need a cleaning as that would make the engines rev at different speeds. You need to clean them once a year.
