1997 gtx problem

My rear electrical box was full of water and now i get zero sound when i put the lanyard on the post .I just dont know where to start to look for the problem. doesnt seem to have any power going forward. thanks for any help

That usually means the mpem which is basically the brains of the ignition and electrical system and shot. Whats the story on the ski. What led up to it not starting or how did it get water in there?

One of the drain plugs came out while docked and the hull filled with water. I pulled the ski out out drained it pulled the plugs and pop it a few times to make sure any and all water was gone and thats when it stopped .
