ISO any helpful info on my 1997 GTX, I've got a no start issue.. the bottom end of the engine was seized last year I got the entire engine resealed, timed, new piston, rings crank, rods, etc.. (everything done professionally) also has a brand new starter and battery.. tried to start after installation , NO such luck the engine was locking up after about 10-12 rotations, I called the guy that built the motor he said the only possible thing it could be is its loading up with to much fuel (I've also switched over to pre mix).
so I remove the carbs and inspect them and they are filthy so I cleaned and resealed both of them completely! and the fuel pump.. reinstalled and it is doing the same thing.. I'm not smelling any fuel in the chambers but they are wet with what I believe is oil. if I drop and pre mix down the cylinders it will almost lock up right away.. I have tons of spark and compression due to the fresh rebuild.. also I do have the grey lines on it and I hear nothing but bad things about, but I see no leaking fuel from them or deficiencies. I don't know where to go from here I have spent way way more money and time than what I will ever get out of the thing I just want it to run I only bought it last year and put a couple hours on it before it seized and its half way through this summer and hasn't ran for well over a year now
