1997 GTX Mirrors onto a GTS? Is it possible

My wife has a 1997 GTS and wants to add mirrors. Will the mirrors from an GTX work?

Not sure about this. But it looks like the '96 GTi mirrors would be a better fit since the body & hood lines appear to be the same or very similar and looks like they would share the same attachment point.

You would need to drill holes for the bolt pattern of the mirrors and then mount them to the body.

95 GTX or 95/96 GTI will fit. 96 or 97 GTX will not. The difference is in the base of the mirror. On the 96/97 GTX the mirrors bolt to the hood whereas on the older GTX/GTI models they bolt to the body of the ski. Therefore the bases are shaped differently.
