To amplify a little, you need to ground the plug wires on the provided prongs to prevent sparks that may cause embarassing explosion if cranking without plugs installed.
To amplify a little on the fuel system, these machines are very sensitive to lean running: tend to destroy themselves. Thus the integrity of the fuel system is rather critical and about any leak in the fuel delivery system will cause lean running.
