1997 GSX spark problem is SOLVED. Check out how i found it!!!!!

OOOOOKKKKKK so yesterday i was trying to track down my cause of no spark on my 1997 seadoo gsx 787. I was fiddling around with the ignition coil and assumed that since i have spark to the hot wire on the coil but not any spark after the coil its safe to assume that the ignition coil is bad. ok cool so ill get a new one. Well i get started removing the coil i take out only one bolt on the top and notice that there is some _FORM A GASKET_ on the plug wires coming out of it. so i scrape it off and remove the wires and reinstall the (CORRECT WAY) i thought that this would fix my problem so i hook the coil all back up and put an inline spark tester on the plug wires. I did not find it necessary to close the e-box back up since i was only testing a little ity bitty spark. so just so the coil didnt fall down and break a wire i thought "MAYBE I SHOULD HOLD IT TO KEEP IT SAFE" So i grab it, Hold it firmly in my grasp and press START>>>> then............... HOLY GOD OF ABRAHAM AND JACOB IM PRETTY SURE I JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK AND CRAPPED MY PANTS AT THE SAME TIME. My girlfriend comes running out of the house to see what the heck that loud scream/screach was. So after a few minutes of trying to get me off the ground and get my senses back all the while she is trying DILIGENTLY not to burst out in laughter at what just happened i am finally concious to what just happened. So i try my best to walk it off for a while but its hard to do when every muscle in your body is twitching uncontrollably. I finally get calmed down and walk back over to the craft to see why this happened. So i remove the coil again and start to inspect it "which i should have done in the first place and next time definetly will" I get to lookin and discover on the back side of the coil it is completely split open and arcing out the hole. "The hole which i was holding onto might i add" So the moral of the story is that i thank you guys for all your help on this topic but i have discovered my flaw in this piece of equipment and with a new 100 dollar coil and some muscle relaxers i should be good to go in a day or two.....
