Today while riding for first time of the season the oil low warning came up on the display screen and my rpm’s instantly dropped when I was close to full throttle. Is this a safety feature on seadoos? Also could the oil low be because of just the float in the oil tank or would it more likely be that the pump went? Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

The oil light is just an idiot light on a float, nothing more, no safety features.
Loss of oil will kill an engine fast.

Ok thanks. From the description I said previously what do you think the issue could be for the light coming on and the rpm’s dropping? Could that be the oil pump, some type of filter, oil lines etc?

Totally unrelated.
The light has nothing to do with the engine running.

You need fuel, compression and spark to run so you are going to have to start eliminating them.
