1997 Challenger 1800 Stator Replacement

Passenger side motor. Do I have to pull the engine? Are there any tricks to getting the cover off?

should not have to. Remove the front bolt on the mount, then might need to loosen a few more bolts/clamps, so then you can prop the motor up, using 2x4, then you got access to the mag cover, for removal.
