My first trip on the lake in my "New to me SeaDoo" was tuff. It really had no backward motion in reverse. The second motor kept staling too. Any commentshttp://www.seadooforum.com/images/smilies/new/banghead.gif

funny you sound like me, the first time i took my boat out i hit trees, rocks, also if you dont have reverse did you see if your reverse bucket lever is working? did you see if works?

Do you mean shift it into reverse and see if the bucket moves in the back? I can check that. Plus Does the engine die if you throttle forward to fast?

Yup, to see if the lever releases, I learned that with my Seadoo I have to be very gentle with the forwar, neautral and reverse, "BROKE" my reverse lever by pushing it too powerful in reverse, now I gentle with it when I go into reverse, neautral, and forwardd.

Another thing I learned in my case with my Seadoo that I have to go gently forward, its finicky if I go forward too fast on the throttle it dies on me, if I take it easy, little by little, finally it takes off and finallly planes on the water.... my 2 cents..

Wow! great I cant believe I finally got to help someone.

Sorry about all my misspellings but I had customers in front of me when I was writing, so I was writing real fast when I wrote the previous post.

You never answered about your reverse bucket, did it go down? did you see?
