1996 seadoo gtx electrical issue

Thanks guys for heading me right direction got 96 gtx and xp both just click in grey box in start rely (blk box) gonna do some testing this weekend.will let you know..

Yeah, the inside of that front e-box is a real rats nest. I just went through mine (96 GTX) I cleaned all the connections and added a ground wire between all three grounding terminals to connect them all together as an added measure. Grounds are very important and can cause all sorts of weird problems when they have bad connections. I have learned a great deal about the electrical system on the 96 GTX over the past couple of weeks.
 
Found the problem. All ground wires we're ohming fine. On a hunch I changed the cdi ground wire terminal on the plug from mpem. She fired right up. Not sure why it was ohming fine but that was the issue.

Ohming uses minimal current. like 0.00000001 amps.

So it would show good.

Its just that there was resistance in that terminal that was only evident when you put more current through it.
