purchased ski late in season with being told it needed a starter and it would not turn over. trying to get the ski winterized and put away so the work started. I put battery on charge until fully charged, replaced starter tested for spark had none. Replaced spark plugs (BR8ES) replaced coil and coil wires and now have spark. Plug key into post and lights come on but no beeping, starting button works I can hear that the ski is trying to fire up at full tilt but nothing. sprayed starting fluid in carbs and almost sounds like it wants to fire however just as it's about to fire it backfires. thoughts?

1) your BUZZER sounds like it's shot....easy fix, just tedious to get to
2) Don't use starter fluid, no lubricants in SF, use a squirt of pre-mix
3) FULL carb service - only genuine MIKUNI kits
4) Rotary Valve investigation
5) Compression check - use a good guage, no HF crap.
