I was given a 1996 GTX that had been sitting for 2 years. After putting a battery in and turning it over a few times trying to start it the motor would lockup. So I pulled the plugs out and turned it over again and it spun over fine, but noticed there was some oil blowing out from the back cylinder. So I cleaned the spark plug up and installed them back in and got it started but it smoked pretty bad. Now that I can get it to run I took it out to the lake and it ran good. But now after a wile running or pulling a skier the engine will start to miss. I can turn it off for a sec. and start it right back up and it will run fine for a min, then start to miss again. Looking at the plug in that back cyl. it looks to be flooded. Do you think maybe I need to rebuild the carbs or something more serous.
