1996 gti wear ring ?

I replaced my wear ring put it all together and the impeller doesnt spin by hand is this right the gap between impeller is right when i put nose cone on thats when problem started take it of and it spins fine is this right this is my first time to do this

You've pinched the thrust washer. Loosen the impeller, get everything straight, and re-tighten.

Ok i put the thrust washer in front of the bearing were you put the shaft in a vice is that right our does it go behind the impeller
