Hi I bought a 96 seadoo gti and it had some issues. I cleaned the carbs and replaced fuel lines. It will run once it gets gas but if it sits for a couple of days I have to spend 15+ min trying to prime the carbs. I have two questions first any ideas on what my problem could be? Secondly what is the best way to prime the carbs? right now I spin the crank shaft to turn over the engine but I’m guessing there is a better way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much WaSeadoo

I didn’t rebuild the carbs but they were in very good condition I just took them out and used carb cleaner. And I don’t think it’s the carbs because the lines going into the carbs arent getting gas either.

You can run a temporary line directly from the tank to the carb to eliminate the variable of the selector and strainer.

Just a FYI, “cleaning “ the carbs typically doesn’t work. You really need a full rebuild using all new Mikuni parts including needles and seats.

I agree with mikidymac on cleaning the carbs not working. I work on four wheelers and dirt bikes more than pwcs and have always gotten away with just cleaning them instead of rebuilding them. Not the case on pwcs unfortunately.
