1996 gsx (787) will crank, no spark, no dash?

hey all, hoping someone can give me some input

rebuild a 787 that siezed last year, had a new key made and it worked fine except when the engine siezed
so its been sitting for a year

ready to start it but not getting sparks at the plug, and there is no signal coming from the white wire to the ignition coil.
when i put the key in, no dash lights or gauges come on, no beebs or anything, but it will crank

checked the black wire to the battery as well, tested ohms at the trigger coil,

im unsure how to proceed, could it be something with the MPEM or CDI? i dont see why it wouldnt be working now

Check all fuses, 3 in the front box, 2 in the rear box.

Because your gauges don't light up you can check if they are getting power from the MPEM but the ski should run without gauges. Download the free service manuals for your model that will also give you schematics. I posted a link to a video that goes through the entire electrical system for a 96 XP which is very similar to your model. Follow it and I think you will get to the bottom of no spark.
