Hey all, I havent posted much on this forum since ive been a member b/c ive had so much success reading other peoples problems (mine are usually the same) But this is my current problem,
On my 96 Challenger I took it out yesterday and ran it up to 50+ MPH after a head gasket change + new carbs i was suprised it had never been that fast before, then i jumped a wake and it started to kinda act funny. In forward It would rev up to about 7K for a second or two take off and then bouce back down to about 3K and repeat this process (similar to the rev limiter in neutral). I did this in reverse too and it maintained a constant 6-7K RPM, which leads me to believe it is not a mechanical problem but somthing that got knocked, it has done this before but it has been intermitent.
Any help would be apprecieated.
