1995 xp limited with 787 engine bogging

I have cleaned the carbs and it did run excellent for a day at the lake. The next week we brought it back and it was surging. Cutting out even when you went full throttle for a few seconds. Checked the carbs and everything was clean. Perphaps the full diaphragm dried up when I cleaned the carbs the first time? I can't figure it out? What else could it be?

Hi did u find out what was making your ski do that coz mine doing the exact same thing and I've cleaned the carby put a new air filter in drain fuel tank drain the oil reservoir

You shouldn’t have an air filter to change. It’s just a metal screen. As for the carbs they don’t just need to be cleaned, they need to be rebuilt with genuine Mikuni kits. The diaphragms, clear check valves and all.

I also suggest replacing the fuel selector and fuel strainer o-ring.
