I am looking at a 95 XP with the 717, 1 cyl is at 130 psi and the other is 140. Is new compression 150? What is rebuild time as far as compression psi goes?

New is 150 130 its needing rebuilt. Also 10% difference is time to rebuild

I would say more than 5 psi between cylinders and there is an issue. They should be dead even and I have never had an engine that didn’t have something wrong that wasn’t.

Perfect compression is 150 psi. At 120 they are done and typically won’t start in the water.
