You've come to the right place. Alot of us have that ski and have put in lots of time to get components, special to that ski, reproduced so we can restore them to their original glory.

Great machine to have, especially if you like having something unique and rare. The 95 800 Limited and the 99 SPX are IMO the coolest X4s ever made.

Long story short, the 95 800 Limited was built by Seadoo to compete with the Yamaha 1200s on the race circuit that year. It has many features that are unique to it. The ones with the X motor (bore size that made it legal for the 1200 class) are the rarest, but in terms of performance there is no difference to the non-X motor version.

No, not if it is in mint condition. I've had a couple of $3k offers on the one I restored.

I sold a 95 XP800 that was MINT with a Bo Dupriest supertock motor, neptune pipe, NOVIs, etc for $6,000 about 8 years ago.

I have another 95 XP800 that is literally showroom condition and I don't think I would take less than $5,000 for it. Some will call that crazy, but I have no doubt there are old school enthusiast out there that would pay it or more.

Can you send pictures of it? Also, see if you can get a picture of the engine tag. We can tell you if it has the X motor. Also, to get top dollar the ski needs to have the original hump seat and yellow single gauge hood. Many times those parts disappear from these skis because they are rare and hard to find.

And of course at that the price it needs to be in top running condition with solid compression.

Here is one photo, hopefully he sends me more

that thing is roasted. Unless it has a metric ton of engine/pump mods that's a sub $1k ski at best. Only saving grace is it still has the single gauge hood and hump seat. That trailer ain't worth shat either. If it's a salt turd ( used in salt water) I'd offer $500 and nothing more. Fresh water ski I'd go up to at MOST $800.

Ok, I'm just waiting for him to send more photos

Yeah that ski isnt worth anywhere close to 3k. The seat cover is toast (big money), appears the single gauge hood has been painted, and the handlebar pad is in really rough shape.

A picture under the seat will tell us the rest.

If you want that hull, a 99 SPX was my personal fav for color scheme. I'd take a 96 XP however over the rarer 95, just since it was more common. From a repairs perspective.

Yeah these guys speak the truth. If I had that ski running great on that trailer I'd ask $1400 OBO for it.

Guys, North bay.............Ontario

Prices are always higher in Canada. His $3k price is roughly $2,357.56 USD Still high for the US market but for those guys probably a "fair" price. I need to start exporting skis north of the boarder.

Yep, maybe this summer sometime. I already had to re-register it, 2 year reggie ran out already, LOL.

I'm with you, kind of. In a 2 week period I renewed reg on both mine, then the resto ski ate it's motor (did you see those pics), and then I tore my ACL at my last soccer game of the season and surgery is in 2 weeks.

Shitty summer...
