I know she is old but a fun ride!!! At the end of season my baby sunk I pulled the plugs got the water out and got her running then stored for the winter. This spring I got it going and it ran strong but after flipping it it shortly stopped running. Once in the garage I pulled the plugs and tested nice blue spark 150 psi and mist coming out of plug holes . On testing the mist was not flammable. I pored start fluid in and nothing I put a torch to the plug hole and with a nice proof sludge came out the exhaust. I have been cranking and proofing until nothing comes out I do get the odd sputter but no start . There is something diluting my fuel assumably from crank case? I have new fuel and oil in machine.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks

Which way did you turn yours to right it up? Clockwise or CounterClockwise, the best solution for when water found its way into my motor was to find out what caused it and how to prevent it. Turned to be a bypass to allow the ski to run out of water. (For me, also just rolled my ski over a couple times actually screwing around but no issues like you describe)

Never again, since I ride in freshwater. But to answer your question just keep running/turning it over to expel all the water from the system, but if for some reason you have water in your gas I'd suggested draining the tank and putting in some fresh gas. Harbor freight makes a good little pump that I used on my hx to remove old oil and fuel but really a one time use thing before it breaks.

When I got mine to run I would let it run for about 15 seconds, before I would take the plugs out and clean them of the watery/oil mixture with a lighter. Allowing time for the motor and other bits to cool off since I on the trailer.

And yes, mine also pooped out some oily sludge aswell and ran like fire. Continued to expel it as well.

Thank you for response!! Yes that's the stuff coming out ...as I started to flip the machine was leaning to the wrong side but didn't go fully over but it may of been enough to cause any water from last season to get into combustion chamber. So on your experience I'll keep going. I have the fuel on when cranking but with plugs out is it getting the required lubrication?

turn fuel valve off when doing this. make sure your caps are grounded off too. just to help remove some of the water from cylinder I got a turkey baster and put a little bit of oil down the cylinder holes. covered the hole and turned it over till oil stopped shooting onto the rag. have you tried starting it after all these attempts of expelling the water? Best thing for you is to have it running
