Any suggestions on the source of water coming in on a 1995 Speedster? If I sit on the lake with the hood open, I can see the bilge pump on the floor between the front of the engines and the gas tank. When I turn on the bilge pump and suck all the water out, as soon as I turn off the pump, water immediately comes back in right around the bilge pump and slowly fills up. It's not the bilge hose because I even added an extra length of hose to get the top way above the water line. I can't see water coming in at the back of the boat near any exhaust or water lines but it looks like it comes in low and in the middle. When I take it out of the water, it doesn't leak out on it's own either so I have no idea where it comes in. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks.

The water left in the line is draining back, mine does the same thing, unless you're talking about a lot of water.

I thought that was it too at first but I ruled that out. I added about four feet of water line spliced in to the bilge outlet hose so I could get it way up in the air above the gas tank and everything so there's no way water is coming in there now.

Try this....
Trailer the boat..... Put your plugs in and drop a hose in the engine bay.. fill it with enough water so that you can watch the bilge work and after pumping out a majority of the water turn it off and see if the water drops back in... Even by adding the extra length of hose for the bilge your going to get a little backwash due to air bubbles when the bilge sucks all it can up and begins to hiccup..
just a thought...

Oh how much water are you talking about leaking back in... The more specific the better!

Sorry I forgot to mention how much water....It's more water than would be in just the hose. It doesn't seem to come in super fast like it's going to sink the boat or anything but it does come in enough to eventually start coming up to the PTO spinning in the water. The bilge pump isn't automatic so I have to keep turning it on randomly or the engines start losing power when the water gets high enough. I also can't see it coming in the shafts the engines are hooked to so I didn't know where else to look. It seems to come lower in the boat like were the bilge pump is.

Check the exhaust manifolds.. The plugs in the pipes all seem to leak on the older engines.. Take a look at the round plugs, if you see a white build up of corrosion they are leaking.. I have 3 skis and a boat in they all had leaks..
