1995 Speedster Boat impellers

Hi,
I have some questions if you guys can help:
-Why there are 2 different impellers for left and right? Seadoo list them as diferent part numbers but they are the same specs.
-Can I get impeller housings (or maybe the hole pumps) from a different year boat? Mine is 1995 but most dealers have only 96 and up. Also I have more cheaper options on ebay.
-If the propulsion shafts have some little wear where the double lip seals are in contact do I need to replace them?

Using a micrometer, measure the diameter on the bearing contact surfaces. Minimum shaft diameter should be 22.24 mm (.876 in.) As far as the seal contact surface, I would do a pressure test on the pump, if it holds 10 psi. for 10 min. then all is good, but remember if it's out of the boat now then replace everything that is not in spec.
As far as the pump replacement, maybe someone else can answer that better than I could. I know the ventura assembly is also different.
