Sorry for so many questions. But now the steering is crazy stiff. Greasing in should do the trick right? It was butter before i actually got her on the water and as each day goes by its stiffer than the last.

Disconnect the steering cable at the pump and see if it is the nozzle. If not disconnect it at the bars under the hood and if it is still stiff it's the cable. They corrode and seize on the inside.

What pump? Or where? Behind the hull or inside?

The jet nozzle at the far back of the ski. It moves to direct the jet when you move the bars. It's a 10mm nut and bolt holding the cable on.

Remove the cable from the nozzle, and see if the nozzle moves freely by hand, or if it binds up. If it moves freely, remove the cable from the handlebars themselves and see if the cable slides back and forth in the sheath freely...

And if it does or doesnt???

If the nozzle moves freely that isn't your issue. If it doesn't move freely it's the plastic bushings usually swelling up from salt corrosion.
If the handle bars move freely without the cable attached then it's the cable. If they don't then it's the plastic bushings that need grease on the steering column.
If the steering cable is stiff once disconnected at both ends then it belongs in the trash.

that's about all we can say until you start checking things.
