This is my 1st post, 1st seadoo, 1st boat. All was well until last Thursday. Started the port side motor and died within seconds. I noticed the 5 amp port supply fuse was blown. I shut main power off and replaced the fuse. Turned power on and blew again. Since then I have tested everything that could be tested and all checked out great. I'm guessing the port side of the mpem is shot. So here is the big question. Since the starboard engine runs fine can I wire in a single mpem off a jetski for the port side and leave the starboard side as it is. And if this is possible can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram to do so.

Not sure about the jetski MPEM portion of the question, but I've got a wiring schematic for the boat if that would help you out. I had the same issue with my 95 with the fuse blowing, but it did not affect the engine. Based on how i read the wiring diagram, the MPEM is centrally supplied power from both sides, so if only one supply fuse is out, it should still work. If the diagram would help, PM me your email address and I'll send it over.

Ok i put a single mpem in. However still no spark. Changed out the stator today still no spark. I can easily remove the new mpem and put it back to original. But when I was having the fuse issue I believe I disconnected the stator and it still blew.

Yes. Today I'm going to buy a new battery. Replace all 3 starter solinoids, and put all wiring back to normal to see what happens. I have done everything possible.

Ok new battery, wiring back to normal to the original mpem, all 3 solinoids new, still pops the 5 amp port supply fuse and no spark

Got it running . Replaced the diode in the mpem and a wiring mishap.(black and black/ red got reversed some how) took it out last night. It runs like champ!!!! Thanks for the help guys
