1995 seadoo hx

I wanted to make sure. I just bought this jetski. I took it to the river and i hope on it without starting it and the back end was underwater and so was my feet so i got off because i thought i was sinking and im only 130lbs. I checked plugs and the hull no water. Are they meant to sink that low?

The XP i just bought likes to sink the front and rear ends... doesn't seem to to hurt it at all... i think these 'sporty' ones just sit lower than the GTX I was used to...

yeah probably i guess the hx was a racing model before. i will try again and see what happens but will go faster than 10mph
