1995 HX sudden bogging

My 1995 HX will run pretty good until i drive it more. The more i drive it, the less speed it bogs at, eventually it wont go at all. Will a battery that does not hold a charge make the 1995 HX bogg suddenly when you get going? -Thanks-

sounds like fuel problems to me. have you ever cleaned out the carbs? are the fuel lines grey?
