1995 HX problems

I recently bought a 1995 Seadoo HX. I put it in the water and it will come right out of the water but it gets to a certain speed and it stops.After a while it will not let me give it any throttle at all. Can someone please tell me some ideas to fix it?

time to clean the carbs, change the fuel lines (if you have gray lines) and clean the fuel valve.

Check compression. Check oil lines from injection pump to RV. Use BR8ES *plugs gapped .021. Dump the Separator filter. Do a fuel routeing test. Clean the carb filters. Replace the JP cone oil. Bills86e

Should i use full synthetic oil to mix with the gas? If there is a little less oil in the oil tank would that make a difference? Should i mix high test gas with oil for the fuel? -Thanks-

Are you saying the ski is/was converted over to a pre-mix system? or dont know?
post any history and the compression.

It is a premix setup. Also, if the battery loses charge, will it effect the performance? -Thanks-
