1994 Seadoo xp 657x 0 compression

So, I did a compression test on both cylinders. Front cylinder was 120 psi and then I got to the back cylinder and it was 0 PSI. I decided to pull the head off to look at the piston and jug walls. I’ve attached pictures of the cylinder and head. I’m wondering if anyone knows what are the possible causes of this? And what should I do to fix it back to operable condition ? Just a top end rebuild? Could I get by just replacing that one jug and piston?

With that much damage you need to do a complete tear down. I know you don't want to hear this, but doing a top end without inspecting the crank on this one would be a waste of time and money.

I had that in the back of my mind that that would be the case. I think it’ll be a good learning experience anyway to do a tear down in case I end up being a jetski guy this one and and a GTX were given to me. I’ve never even ridden one but I’m a John Deere AG mechanic so I know a little but not much on these small 2 stroke motors
