I am finally getting back to finishing the top end rebuild on my 1994 GTX. A quick history: I purchased the GTX a couple of years ago for a couple hundred dollars with trailer knowing it had no compression in the front cylinder. Other than this problem the GTX was in perfect, clean, original condition. Of course, the the old gray fuel lines were the suspected problem and the cylinder had a hole burned in it. Thus far, I've disassembled, split the case to clean out aluminum residue, and I am starting to put everything back together. I also cleaned the carbs, emptied and cleaned the gas and oil tank, and, replaced all the fuel lines. I plan to replace the oil injection lines and to continue to use the oil injection system. Is there other preventive maintenance that I should be doing or things to replace no that I have everything all apart? Exhaust couplings? Motor mounts? I am not looking for performance increase, just cheap reliability.
