1992 Seadoo SP losing power

Hi all...Im brand new here. Ive been rebuilding a 1992 Seadoo SP that has been losing power when riding. Like others, mine runs for 5-10 minutes and loses power. I removed everything and found that the gas inlet lines in the tank were rotted off and filters laying in the bottom of the tank. I replaced them so hopefully that was the issue. I was wondering about oil?? I used Pennzoil marine oil from Wal-Mart but have been reading that this TC-W3 oil should never be used. Can anyone tell me why? Now that I used it, how should I proceed??

I would drain and clean out the oil tank. You can use the cheaper XPS mineral oil for that engine. Also replace oil filter and the small 3/32 oil lines while your at it
