Hello, I recently bought a 91 GT that still has the oil injection installed. I was considering going to pre-mix and wondering how much work is involved in installing the block off plate. Some of the research that I have done shows that the motor may have been replaced at sometime, this now has a white motor showing 68 hrs and I was thinking the original was yellow. Am I thinking correct on that. Also what is the correct mix ratio for pre-mix?

I have not got it running as of now just waiting on a new starter to arrive and was thinking it may be a good idea to change to pre-mix before I try running the motor..

Thanks for your advice...

It's up to you.

TO remove the pump, you need to remove the intake manifold, so you can remove the pump gear. After that... just block off the hoses. (but do not remove the oil hoses to the rotary valve gears)

So... when you change to pre-mix on that ski... you need to leave the oil tank in the hull, and oil in it to lube the center gears.
