1989 sea doo jet ski

I have a 1989 sea doo bombardier that the engine compartment got submerged in water 3 days ago, after a heavy rain storm. I got it out of the water and pulled the plug to let the water drain out. I checked the battery it's sitting at 14.5 volts. But it will not crank over. Any help would be great. Thanks

pull the plugs, put the plug wires on the grounding posts (has orange cover on them on the stator cover), and hit start button. that'll expell out the water in the motor.

Thanks for the help Timmy did that and threw a néw set of plugs in and it runs great. Thanks again
