Hey guys, Ive had this seadoo for about 2 weeks now
when I bought it I did a compression test and spark test on the spot (because ive learned my lesson with 2 strokes)
the spark was a bit weak but it was there
Currently I have replaced all the fuel, oil, fuel pick up, took apart cleaned carb, got the right spark plugs.
It came with a full manual so its been helpful
There is compression (130psi in each cyl), There is Gas for sure
Originally it would fire but just for like 3 times in a row and then quit.
I tore open the access pannel and meter'd the connections using the manual
Figured out that somebody had some wires crossed up and put everything back where it is supposed to be.
The main problem seemed to be the spark plug wires (as they had connectivity issues), so now everything is sound.
When I try to start I only see a spark once I let go of the starter.
Has anyone ever had this issue??
I checked this with both plugs, and its the same with each
Is something backwards??
I gather it is supposed to close a connection when you hit the start button, but it seems not to spark when cranking, and spark once or twice when I stop trying to start it.
HELPPPP IM GETTING FRAZZLED!!!
(any help would be greatly appreciated)
