07 gti se 155hp

I have an 07 Sea Doo GTI SE with the 155 HP 4 stroke engine. The unit has approx. 42 hours on it. It was purchased in May of 07, so it is just over 2 years old. My problem is that while riding, the gauge starts to read LOW 12 VOLT. It goes out after a few minutes but then keeps coming on intermittenly. It seems to start and run fine, so I am not sure if it is a battery getting bad or possibly the charging system. Any ideas? Thanx in advance
