Good day folks. Looking for a bit of guidance on an electrical / no start issue on a 2007 GTi 130. Here is the scenario and what i know thus far:
Plug DESS lanyard on - No beeps at all, gauges sweep, welcome aboard message flashes, gauges fade out & SEADOO remains on screen. No function at start/stop switch.
Pressing start/stop 5 times with DESS lanyard off does nothing/no beeps
This is what i have done:
- Battery is brand new and confirmed good & fully charged.
- power verified at solenoid and across all fuses
- cleaned all electrical connections at fuse block
- inspected and cleaned all electrical plug points
- engine cranks fine bypassing solenoid
- buzzer removed and direct wired to 12v verified working good.
- when i plug DESS lanyard onto another machine, that machine beeps once
- when i press the start/stop there is very faint noise at the buzzer.
I got the machine in this condition. The story is it operated fine and then just went dead over winter layup.
Where do I go next? Trying to avoid throwing costly parts at it.
